1989 Bertram Convertible in St. Augustine, FL

General Description
A high-quality, well-respected Sport Fish Convertible that is built on a solid, seaworthy hull. Galley down model, master state room sleeps 2, on a king berth. Guest stateroom sleeps 2 in over/under berths.
Actual Condition
It is reported, while tied to the dock during Hurricane Matthew, high winds pushed swim platform brace into the transom. The resulting damage allowed water to enter the transom area, and flooded the engine room.
Water was about 3 feet high in the cabin. The interior was cleaned up and a dehumidifier has been running to dry it out. The hull appears to be in great shape, no blisters, but needs a bottom paint job. All non-skid (bridge, cockpit & front deck) redone in August 2009, still in great shape.
